Cycling tour Koper-Prade-Škocjan-Olmo cycling route goes from Koper, past the Škocjanski bay landscape park, to the nearby settlements around Koper. The route first follows a cycle path, from Bertokovy along the road and then along a less-traveled local road. Suitable for all fitness levels. You will ride on asphalt surfaces only. You can go by mountain-bike, trekking or road bike.

he start of the Izola-Piran-Tunnel Parenzana cycle tour is in Izola from the Ladjedelnica car park. You can find several parking lots in Izola. From the car park, turn right towards the centre of Izola. Drive 500 m to the roundabout by the post office and the bank. There take exit 4 into the alley and continue straight on for 500 m along the main road. Then, in front of the Moby Dick restaurant and pizzeria, turn left and continue along Leninova Street to the main road, passing houses and blocks of flats. The start of the cycling tour is in Koper from the Bonifika parking lot Immediately at the roundabout with the fountain, go past the Planet Koper shopping centre and immediately at the roundabout turn right towards the bus and train station to the parking lot. There you will see a special parking area for camper vans, where you turn onto the cycle road next to the railway line.
After 200 m, you will see the Škocjanski zatok nature reserve bay on your left. At the bay, go straight along the road to the main road. Here, turn right onto the overpass and straight on past the two roundabouts in Bertoki to Prade.
In Prade, at the crossroads after the primary school, turn right and go straight on the main road past San Canziano, Bonini and Triban.
At the crossroads in front of Triban, keep right until you reach the crossroads of the Badaševica stream. At the crossroads turn left towards Koper. Drive straight on the road, which climbs slightly until you see the cemetery and the Vinakoper winery on your left.
Go downhill and turn right past the wine cellar along the cycle path to the traffic lights. Here, continue straight on the road to the roundabout, before which turn right at the pedestrian crossing.
Continue along the cycle path on the straight road past the terraced houses and blocks of flats in Olmo, along the Badaševica stream, under the overpass leading to the center of Koper.
At the crossroads in front of Triban, keep right until you reach the crossroads of the Badaševica stream. At the crossroads turn left towards Koper. Drive straight on the road, which climbs slightly until you see the cemetery and the Vinakoper winery on your left.

Continue along the cycle path on the straight road past the terraced houses and blocks of flats in Olmo, along the Badaševica stream, under the overpass leading to the center of Koper.
Take the flyover past the car park to the Semedela underpass. Here you will see the sea at the exit. Turn right at the roundabout.
Follow the cycle path past the recreation areas and the new park. We suggest you take a little rest here, as the destination of your trip is not far away.
Next to the park you will see a gravel parking area. Turn right at the roundabout. You will see the Bonifika football stadium. After the stadium you will arrive at the car park where you started.
